Envolve Infrastructure Completes Acquisition of Ty Draig Group Limited incorporating Edwards Diving Services and Remar

Date Posted: 30.04.2026

Envolve Infrastructure Acquires Tŷ Draig Group Limited, Trading as Edwards Diving Services (EDS) and Remar Safety Services (RSS).

Envolve is delighted to announce the acquisition of Edwards Diving Services (EDS) and Remar Safety Services (RSS). This strategically important acquisition strengthens Envolve’s position in the water and marine sectors and significantly expands our specialist capabilities across diving, fabrication, marine civil engineering, and breathing apparatus servicing, supply, and user training.

Founded in 1992 by Paul Edwards, EDS has developed from a specialist inshore diving contractor into a highly respected provider of integrated marine and civil engineering services. Remar is established as one of the UK’s leading providers of breathing apparatus servicing, supply and user training, including high pressure cylinder testing and charging. EDS & Remar’s strong reputation, technical capability, and depth of expertise compliment the primary operating sectors of Envolve and expand their service offering further.

Alongside Envolve’s core Treatment, Network and Repair & Maintenance capabilities in both the water and energy sectors, this acquisition will add further critical and enhancing services including:

• Diving Services
• Civil & Marine Engineering
• Engineering Inspection Services
• Safety Access & Rescue
• Mechanical & Fabrication services
• Bridge & Culvert Engineering
• Surveying & Geomatics
• Breathing Apparatus Servicing, Supply, and Training

The alignment of EDS and Remar within the group will provide Envolve the ability to support clients across the AMP programme alongside the UK’s continued investment in waterway and marine infrastructure.

A Partnership Built Over a Decade
Envolve, EDS, and Remar share a partnership spanning more than a decade across the UK water sector, including long term collaboration on the Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water Dam Safety Programme. This longstanding relationship is built on mutual respect, aligned values, and safe technical delivery. Bringing the businesses together through acquisition is a natural progression that strengthens our collective capability for the future.

Retention of Trusted Brands
EDS and Remar will continue operating under their established brands within the Envolve structure. Retaining these recognised identities will ensure continuity for clients and preserves the trusted reputation and heritage the businesses have earned over many years. Operating within Envolve provides the additional investment, support, and strategic alignment needed for continued growth, while maintaining the specialist focus our clients value.

Jamie Prichard, Managing Director, Envolve Infrastructure said:
“Envolve has been providing specialist engineering services in the water sector for over 40 years. By bringing EDS and Remar into the Group, we are broadening this specialist capability to offer our clients an enhanced turnkey service which is complementary to our growth plans. We are delighted to welcome the EDS & Remar teams into the Envolve family, and to support our mutual and new clients with a collaborative wider portfolio combining our revered sector leading skillsets.

This acquisition aligns with our continued growth and was a strategic objective once we had secured our framework positions for AMP 8&9. We were keen to widen our service offering and ensure that we can bring further value adding innovation and early contractor involvement to the benefit of our clients.

Alongside the value EDS and Remar bring to Envolve, we are keen to explore opportunities where we can widen their service offering to their long term and valued framework clients. Our geographical boundaries align fully and facilitate mutual efficiencies founded on our joint direct delivery model.

It has been a pleasure working with the EDS & Remar senior team through this process and I am delighted in the natural synergies, culture and people focus of our businesses, both of which will benefit from this key acquisition”

Paul Edwards, Managing Director, EDS & Remar said:
“I am delighted that EDS and Remar have found a new home within Envolve. An organisation that will support the continued development of EDS and Remar. Our senior team look forward to integrating the businesses into Envolve as we enter this exciting new chapter. Our shared values around people, culture, and quality align perfectly with Envolve’s long-standing focus on people, environment, and expertise.”

People First

The teams at EDS and Remar bring exceptional expertise, revered sector experience, and a well-earned reputation for professionalism. Their integration into Envolve creates new opportunities for collaboration, skills development, and long term progression while strengthening our shared commitment to safe, high quality delivery.

Environmental Responsibility

Both organisations share a strong approach to environmental stewardship. By joining Envolve, EDS and Remar will support our wider environmental strategy, contributing to sustainable, environmentally responsible solutions across water, marine, and civil engineering sectors.

Specialist Expertise

The addition of EDS and Remar’s diving and marine engineering capability further strengthens Envolve’s sector leadership. Combined with Envolve’s engineering heritage and in house technical expertise, this integration provides clients with a more comprehensive and fully integrated specialist service offering.

Part of Renew Holdings PLC

Envolve Infrastructure has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Renew Holdings PLC since 2013, one of the UK’s leading pure play engineering services groups. Being part of Renew provides the strength, stability, and long term focus necessary for sustainable growth. EDS and Remar will benefit from opportunities across the wider Renew Group, including:
