Inviting Glenboi Primary School to Visit Site!

Our team spent the afternoon discussing the effects of climate change and the problems this was causing to the local environment, the purpose of the project and the benefits they will see for years to come

Yesterday was a great day for us at envolve!

We were honoured to invite the pupils of Glenboi Primary for a site visit to our flood alleviation project which we are delivering on behalf of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council in the local village.

30 pupils from the school attended our safe viewing zone, outside of the site boundary and within a safety zone which was especially set up for the visit by our operational teams to facilitate the afternoon safely.

Our team spent the afternoon discussing the effects of climate change and the problems this was causing to the local environment, the purpose of the project and the benefits they will see for years to come with lots of interesting and thought provoking questions from the pupils!

We even had time for the pupils to dress up in PPE and have their photo taken in one of our small excavators!
